Comboni Mission

In the old times missionaries would come across African tribes and record through their cameras these encounters. In some cases they were the firsts to reach some areas of the interior.

Missionaries would record also local customs in the mission diary that became a source of information for anthropologists.

A bit closer to our days missionaries worked among and with the people giving impulse to the work of evangelisation for the creation of new Christian communities.
